Yogo Miroku could hardly contain himself as he made his way towards his room. He had been waiting for tonight since he got the scented letter earlier in the day. It had one sentence neatly brushed across the page, and that one sentence had been rerunning through his head for most of the afternoon and early evening. “You’re room, tonight.” It wasn’t signed, but after the conversation he had had with Shosuro Kakashiko he had an idea of who may have sent it, and what it entailed. Scorpion were true to their word, weather or not anyone else shared that opinion with them was irrelevant. Yogo knew he could trust that she was waiting for him, and she wasn’t alone.
A smattering of stories from all walks of fiction, probably not as good as the last book you read.

Bed of Roses; Part One
This was originally intended to be a complete story. However, I was passing seven pages and thought I should break it up in order to keep from boring my audience. All pieces related to this will be titled the same.
As a word of note, the society is based loosely on feudal Japan. The first name is your family name, and the last your given. Formalities are a big part of the culture, and foregoing titles or referring to someone by their given name implies a personal relationship.
Isawa Ayame wasn’t having the best of mornings. Not only had her evening in the garden with Doji-san been cut short, but her betrothed, Yogo Miroku, had acted much like his usual self and showered another woman with attention and a little inappropriate touching. She had pretended to not notice since he had made it perfectly clear he cared little about their upcoming marriage. In all honesty, she cared little as well. She didn’t want to marry a Yogo, no one did. But she wished Yogo would be a little better about saving face. It was scandalous the way he acted in public, and though they shared no love for each other, he could at least keep from making her look a fool. Ayame had scowled and shook her head, two could play the game of least caring, all she needed was to spend a little more time with Doji. It would get people talking and maybe Yogo would hear about how her heart belongs to someone more refined, that would show him how little she wanted to do with him.

Animal
I have a strange fascination with taking a song and not only applying it to a situation, but making it fit through a written story. So, yes, this should sound familiar, much like Savior.
As I walked into the room that had belonged to me for the last sixteen years of life, I was a little less than surprised to see the Lunar, Crimson, curled up on the floor. This had become a reoccurring find starting the night I received a black eye from her. Since then I begun to expect to see the oddly quiet woman near my bed after my late night sessions throughout the city. Since then I also drank less and preferred company outside of the brothel in order to keep a repeat from happening. She never stirred when I came to claim the bed, or at least not enough for me to notice, and I noticed a lot. Nor did she ever say anything the next morning when I’d wake up and she would be on my bed, sneaking next to me sometime in the middle of the night. I sometimes wished I could claim those as the strangest of moments with her, but her unique talents granted by her Goddess were even more odd. There were even occasions she had come to me, covered in blood and again, not a word was spoken from her. I honestly don’t think I would want to know either.

Author's Note: Something Old, Something New
Ah, another Author's Note. How I loathe thee.
I have two pieces currently in the works. Which doesn't mean much since we've seen how I enjoy dropping things halfway through. Hopefully they'll be finished someday, and soon. But when it comes down to what I do with my spare time, writing always takes the back burner. The good news is that I will have much, much more spewing forth once I finish my super secret project that I'm neglecting writing for. But then again, that could be months away, though I foresee things taking off in the beginning of May.
My passion for anything WoW related died when I stopped playing roughly a year ago. Don't get me wrong, I love what I have, but don't expect anything new coming from that time period. That being said, you may find characters have moved over to new lives or adventures, as I get requests to bring back certain personalities to current games quite often. I will attempt to clarify if ever this were to happen, if it needs clarification.
I shall slip back into the void of no updates until then.
